Robert Kiyosaki Says: Brace Yourself for the Looong Winter
Robert Kiyosaki, famous investor and author of the #1 Personal Finance book of all time – Rich Dad Poor Dad – has recently made a stark warning regarding the current state of the global economy.
He believes that we are already in a global recession and suggests that we’ll see a steep rise in bankruptcies, high unemployment, homelessness and other catastrophic economic issues in the very near future.
Gee Whiz, Bob – Is it That Bad?
Yes, if you believe Mr. Kiyosaki it really is. We’re facing a difficult and uncertain future, although Bob has some tips on how to weather the storm. According to him, we can survive “the longest, deepest, and most sinister recession in modern history” if everyone does their bit:
- Reinvest in yourself – your career, your education, your skills; the more you can do the better.
- Expect higher unemployment – so start preparing yourself to apply your skills in a number of different areas.
- Commit to a long-term plan – be sure to save and invest as much as you can. That way, if you do lose your job, you’ll have funds to keep you going.
- Network – broaden your contacts and remain connected to your industry of choice, as this could potentially help you with search for a new job if needed.
Financially, Expert Advice Is Good – But Discover Your Strengths, Too
Bob insists that discovering and developing our individual strengths is the first step towards real success – and this is something that nobody else can advise us on.
So, take some time to think about what your skills and interests really are. Do you prefer to work from home? Do you want to build up a successful business? Or, is there something else that interests you?
Get planning, get researching and don’t be afraid of failure: the only path to success is to start chasing your dreams!
It’s going to be a long and arduous winter, folks – but you can do it. Listen to Bob and take his sage advice, then take the time to consider yourself and your unique personality.
All the best, and stay safe out there!
